Kent Koehler, Kent Koehler, Chair, Public Technology Institute Public Safety Technology Council and Senior Project Manager, Division of Information and Operations, Sedgwick County, Kansas

Obtaining funding for public safety technology in today’s difficult economic times requires more than a quote from your favorite vendor.  The old “You have to fund it because public safety needs it” line will not suffice.  You must be able to justify the expenditure in a simple, professional format that answers hard questions.  This session will help attendees work through the process of creating a business case to help receive support for their projects.
